I hate waiting. Most people do, but I win in my degree of hate. We are waiting for a landlord to call about the perfect little house with the backyard. Though we don't have it (yet?) I can't control myself from browsing vegetable garden planning websites. We went down the road today to a Mennonite greenhouse and bought herb plants - parsley, basil, lavender, rosemary, and chive. even if we don't end up with a backyard, we could grow these on a sunny windowsill. But I want my backyard. Yes, my. I want days of unemployment filled with weed-pulling and grocery shopping and cake rising and eating and even dishes if so necessitated. In our own little temporary pay-per-month.
I did tack on a casual job inquiry to an org email where I plan to volunteer in the coming week in prep for a fundraiser they're holding. I am tired of orgs requiring certain educational degrees for jobs any half-smart person could handle. So, I'm trying my hand at getting around it.
